The famous Cheese strain, originally bred in the United Kingdom and dominated the British marijuana grow scene for over 15 years. Cheese is famous for its powerful Cheddar-cheese, woody aroma and its strong body stone. As a mostly Indica variety, Cheese is very effective with pain relief and anxiety control, with a pleasant, euphoric buzz. The taste and smoke are strong but not too pungent with spicy, skunk-like undertones. Based on characteristics of her taste and high, it is believed that the Cheese clone originated from from 1980's Skunk and Northern Lights lineages.

Cheese strain is a dominant indica crossbreed, with a very mysterious background. The formula is so well kept that the Cheese marijuana seed variety was only available from cuttings for a very long time. There was absolutely no seed supply at all. Over time, the market is changing and now there is, on a small scale, Cheese marijuana seeds available.

This old school marijuana variety grows a medium high vigorous marijuana plant with many side branches covered with compact buds and a huge main center cola overloaded with velvet like THC crystals and sticky resin that even covers the leaves and stems. For an Indica, the Cheese marijuana plant looks very pale with different shades of light green small and slim marijuana leaves. A great bud to leave ratio.

The Cheese marijuana plant's yield is legendary if treated properly. Cheese marijuana can be grown both indoors and outdoors. Indoors the Cheese marijuana plant flowers earlier than when Cheese is grown outdoors. Because of the density of the Cheese marijuana plant, it makes it highly suitable for sea of green [SOG] growing. Cheese is a great choice for the commercial marijuana grower and the connoisseur. As well as for the novice marijuana grower with a little grow experience.

There is also another "Cheese" floating around by Big Buddha Seeds which is crossed with an original Cheese mother and an Afghani male plant. Big Buddha Cheese is 60% Sativa and 40% Indica. Big Buddha Cheese plant exhibits more than one phenotype in her growth pattern, but all retain the unique qualities of Cheese - the special dank, incense-like aroma, the smooth distinctive flavor and the easygoing, mellow high.
